Love Without Love

I love you, because in my thousand and one nights of dreams,

I never once dreamed of you.

I looked down paths that traveled from afar,

but it was never you I expected.

Suddenly I've felt you flying through my soul

in quick , lofty flight,

and how beautiful you seem way up there, far

from my always idiot heart!

Love me that way, flying over everything.

And, like the bird on its branch, land in my arms

only to rest,

then fly off again.

Be not like the romantic one who,

In love, set me on fire.

When you climb up my mansion,

enter so lightly, that as you enter

the dog on my heart will not bark.

I chose this poem because it is so romantic. It talks about love. The person loves a girl. The person is telling that how he feels when he thinks about her and how he loves her too much. I think that he is in love without sucess because he says that love him that way. Also, I think that he is proposing heis real heart to her because this poem is like a letter. My favorite sentance in this poem is "Suddenly I've felt you flying through my soul" because that means he really falls in love with her, and he really loves her. The sentance is so romantic. I never have a boyfriend, so I do not know about love. However, if I have a boyfriend, I hope that my future boyfriend says the sentance to me. I have heard "Love believes all things". I think love is romantic and beautiful to everyone.

I chose the word pleasant. Its meaning is affording pleasure; and being in harmony with your taste or likings. I like theis word because it has good meaning. There are many similar words to this word. For example,enjoyable, gratifying, pleasurable, fine, and grateful. I discovered the word when I was solving a English problem. I could not understand the word when I translated a sentance which included the word because I got confused between pleasant and peasant, but I know now that peasant's meaning is a coarse, unsophisticated, boorish, uneducated person of little financial means. English is very interesting because pleasant and peasant have different meanings becasue of the alphabet " L".

I came to unites states when I was 9th grade. People always says that I came to here late to learn English, so I got so much stresses because of them. One day, I had gone to korean store to buy a clothes by myself. The store's owner asked to me "Did you come here to study? Was your grade bad in Korea?" I felt annoyed because of him. I wanted to become a teacher before, but I want to become a scientist who searched for any cell. When I took biology class during summer, I could really have fun although my class was boring. I know what I want to do and what I want to become in the future because i am 16 years old.
I am living with my uncle's family. My uncle and aunt go to work everyday. They come back home at 6'o clock. I almost spend time with my brother, so I always have to ask to him "Did you take a shower" as mother. I have to be mature more. "You're moving way too fast (sixteen). There is so much for you ahead.
